5-Step Proven Network Marketing Success Formula
Step 1: Vision and Personal Development Plan
Probably the most critical component of my network marketing success formula is becoming very clear on your vision. The how-to’s and learning and acquiring new skill sets is great, but they are only 10 – 20% of the battle.
In order to step in your greatest potential, YOU must work on YOU more than anything else.
Consider asking yourself the following questions:
- What do you want?
- Why do you want it?
- What's been holding you back from getting what you want?
- What is that limiting belief?
- What will it cost you if you continue to live by this belief? Who else will be impacted?
- What is your daily personal development plan?
Step 2: Be Specific About The Goal You Want and Writing It Down
In combination with your vision, in order for the network marketing success formula to work optimally, you MUST be clear about your goals. Most people know where they want to but, but are not specific with the goal.
That’s why the first step is important.
Let’s say you want to make an extra $10,000 a month. Ok.
Why? How will making $10,000/month change your life? What will you do with that money?
Just say you want to make a lot of money isn’t a good reason. You need to be specific.
Do you want to make $10,000/month so you can quit your job and pursue a passion? Do you want to make extra money in order contribute to a worthy cause? Do you want it to fund a college education, buy a new car?
Be specific and put your mind in that space where you can actually picture yourself achieving that goal. .
Step 3: Create a Timetable To Achieve Your Goal
This timetable should be specific and detailed, but also realistic.
I’ve encountered a few people who have lofty goals, but their timetable was very unrealistic. For example, if you want to make $10,000 a month and you’re only able to put in about 3 hours per week and you want to reach $10K in about 3 – 4 months, I’ve got some bad news for you…..
It’s ain’t going to happen. The math just doesn’t add up.
Make sure you have a time frame that is realistic, but don’t cut yourself short either. Set a goal that will push you a bit, but is not too far out of reach that it can’t be attained.
Step 4: Outline The Process To Get You There
In this step of the network marketing success formula, we outline the process and steps you need to take to achieve that goal. Some of the questions should be…
- Who is the ideal prospect for my business or product?
- Who do I really want to work with?
- How many leads do you need to generate daily?
- What marketing strategy will I use to generate leads?
- How many leads to I need to get a new signup?
- How many signups do I need to meet my main goal?
- How many units of product or products do I need to sell each day? Each month?
You get where I’m going with this? Without know what do and the specific steps, you are just doing random activity. This is key to the network marketing success formula.
There are a lot of network marketers and business owners out there who have huge goals, but they don’t detail out the steps to actually achieve it. If you don’t detail out the steps, then you don’t know if you are falling off track or not.
Step 5: Track Your Progress
This step in the network marketing success formula is actually pretty simple. Take a few minutes a day or each week to see how you’re doing.
Are you on track? If not, why? That’s what I will cover on the webinar I’m hosting.
If you take stock of your activity every couple of days you can make adjustments. If you make a plan and and never refer back to it until the end of the year, you can’t make any adjustments.
I recommend tracking your goals daily (at the very least weekly). If you’re not meeting your goals, evaluate it, see why and make changes.
