Leads on Facebook are easy to come by if you understand how the platform works.
It’s really no secret that Facebook is the king of social media, especially considering that the platform boasts a daily active user base of 1.23 billion (1.15 billion on mobile alone).
If you were to simply use it for nothing else other than connecting with people, it would be worth it 10 times over to invest your time to learn it because of the relational aspect it provides.
The challenge I see with many entrepreneurs and home based business owners is that don’t know how to use Facebook for lead generation aka acquiring potential customers for their business.

People don't come to see ads, so you really need to make sure what you do create provides value for the end user.
Additionally, remember when it comes to using Facebook for lead generation and business, you MUST abide by their rules or risk getting your ads disapproved or worse having your ads account shut down. Trust me I know how it feels to have your ads account shut down. I’ve had several accounts shut down by Mark Zuckerberg.
First and foremost, anytime you use Facebook for business reasons, always remember why people come there in the first place and that is to socialize and consume content.
Being that Facebook is valuable lead generation and at the writing of this article the most underpriced marketing channel, in this article, I’m sharing my top 7 ways to generate leads on Facebook for small and home business entrepreneurs.

Mobile Leads Ad
Early last year, Facebook released a new feature called Lead Generation Ads. This feature allows users to sign-up for offers and content without the hassle of click on a link and filling out a form.
The Facebook Lead Generation Ads are designed to make the mobile sign-up process easier and quicker for the user. It also ensures that you as the marketer receive pretty accurate information – as the information you receive comes directly from the user’s Facebook account.
Facebook Lead generation ads are simple to create: Select Create Ad, Choose Your Objective (Lead Generation), Set Your Targeting and Bidding, Customize Your Form Fields and Your Done. You’ve got your very own Facebook Lead Generation Ad.

Chances are you already know what Facebook Live is and how it works, but how can you use it generate leads on Facebook.
Just in case you don’t know what it is, Facebook Live is a video platform that enables users to broadcast live videos using their mobile device and after uploading they will go straight to their Facebook News Feed for everyone to see.
With Facebook Live as opposed to recorded videos that are uploaded, you are 10X more likely to receive audience interaction and comments.
You can add a link in the description to promote your capture page, sales page or whatever you want really.
This is no doubt an incredible way to generate leads on Facebook.
There are a few ways that you can go Live on Facebook. As mentioned earlier, you can go live directly from your mobile device, or you can use a software like JustBroadcaster or Open Broadcast Software which allows you to go live from your desktop.
On some profiles, you can even go live from your desktop directly from Facebook. As of the writing of this article, I do not have that feature.

Using The Call to Action Button on Facebook
The call to action button on Facebook is another very powerful tool for lead generation and can assist you with driving traffic directly to your capture page.
If you take a look below, you’ll see where the Call to Action is. There are a few button options to choose from: “Sign Up,” “Shop Now,” “Contact Us,” “Book Now,” “Use App,” Watch Video,” and “Play Game.”
There’s a great chance there might even be more by the time you read this. You want to choose the one that best fits your offer.
Once clicked, this button will go straight to your capture page. I can promise you this, you will generate leads on Facebook with this.

Links with Image Description
Another simple and easy way to generate leads on Facebook is by adding a link to a capture page in the description of the image.
People out of pure curiosity will click on that link and opt-in. It’s literally that simple and one of the easiest ways to generate leads on Facebook and takes all of 20 seconds to do.

Post Relevant Content in Facebook Groups
When you have content, valuable content that is relevant and can help your target market, you want to try to find groups on Facebook that allow you to post and share that content.
WARNING: You want to avoid just posting straight to a capture page. Remember back to why people are on Facebook. Engage. Connect. Socialize. You want to share some value first before you ask for their contact information
Create a video or blog post leading people to a relevant offer that provides value or share some tips that will benefit them and have that lead to the capture page and offer.
Create Your Own Facebook Group
Groups are very powerful and can build your brand in a big way. One of the great ways you can build your brand and stay in front of your prospects is with your own group.
Here is a quick list of just a few of the ways a Facebook group can help you build your business.
- A Place to showcase your value – People need to see your value in the places they frequent before they will buy. Everybody is on Facebook so it's a good match.
- A central place for connection and networking – Relationships are everything. You can have a very small list, but a very active list and get great results. A group will just add to that relational building aspect.
- A great place to promote upcoming events – Facebook's event feature is great and allows you to invite all that are in the group. This is very powerful when doing a webinar or training.
- A way to build your thriving community – People love to be a part of something bigger than themselves. If you can create a culture in your group, people will join you. It's that simple.
Network and Connect with at least 5 People Each Day
This is probably the easiest and most simple way to get leads, start conversations and generate cash flow quickly.
Want to grow your business fast and generate leads on Facebook? Then get talking to people and move them toward your offers.
It’s not a pitching conversation, it’s a valuable conversation between two people. It’s a back and forth and when done properly can set people in a position to take a look at your presentation.

- You must enjoy it, right?
- What are you most excited about?
Facebook is an incredible place to grow and build your business. If you take these 7 ways to generate leads on Facebook and implement just 1 or 2 of them, you can easily get to 10+ leads per day very quickly.
But you must be consistent. You can expect to do these for a few days and expect massive results. You’ve got to do it daily, put together a plan and get to work.
