How To Become Famous on Facebook in 7 Simple Steps?

Choose One Platform

If you want to be an internet famous and successful online, your social media strategy at first should focus on one platform. Meaning do not try to focus on Facebook, Instagram, Periscope, Snapchat, Pinterest all at the same time.

As the saying goes, the jack of all trades is the master of none. Master one platform first.

When you get to the point where you have a large audience, you’re generating consistent leads, sales or whatever the result you’re going for, then you can take that same strategy to another platform.
Until that time, you should dive heavily into one platform and MASTER it!  Click Here To Get Access To The Harvard University of Online Marketing.

Grow Your Social Media Audience

Knowing your audience, who you want to speak to and who would get value from what you’re sharing is probably one of the most important steps.

Once you’ve identified who your target audience is, you have to get them to your Facebook profile or business page, Twitter account, Instagram account.

You can do that through a variety of ways, including Facebook paid ads, inviting your friends to connect with you, searching relevant hashtags, etc.

Find Your Unique Voice

As you are building your social media audience, you want to be sure that your unique voice and authenticity comes across. Are people getting to know the real you? This is an area for me that I constantly work on in my business.

Very early on, I simply imitated or mimicked other marketers, but my unique self wasn't coming across in my content or my videos.

Additionally, you want to choose a leadership state of being. You want people to follow you and become those raving fans.

To be a social media celebrity you must be you, whatever that may be – funny, dry, sarcastic, entertaining, inspirational and helpful, etc.

Create a Strong Profile

When you’re thinking about how to become famous on Facebook in your niche, you MUST ensure that your social media profile is strong.

Your social media profile should be professional and one that includes high-quality photos of yourself.

It is through your profile, your audience should get a sense of you, your personality, your message and your lifestyle. You are the social media celebrity, not your company or products or services you promote.

When your social media marketing is solely focused on your company or products it creates resistance, but it also doesn’t create curiosity from your audience.

They already know what company you’re with so they can google it for themselves and decide if it is something they're open to our not without you.

Provide Value

Social media celebrities are leaders, good or bad, they just are and leaders are teachers.

In order to become internet famous, providing value to your audience will not only keep them around but feel that you truly care about them and sincerely want to assist.

You want to trigger your audience’s curiosity. So 90% of your posts should be about creating curiosity and not resistance.

Some examples of this include imagery, picture quotes, lifestyle pics, inspirational post, quotes/message about what you stand for, valuable resources, random questions/fan polls, etc.

When you share value as part of your social media marketing strategy give people the opportunity to go to your blog (your online hub).

Be sure to pay attention to feedback, because your audience will tell you exactly what they like and what they dislike.

Be Consistent

Consistency is key to building a raving fan base and become internet famous.

You must work a consistent plan and can’t expect to simply post once a month and become famous on Facebook.

It just doesn’t work that way.  You need to show up consistently to your audience.

Of course, there are several tools that can help automate the process and track your activity, but your commitment to sharing value consistently will determine whether or now you become famous on Facebook or not.

Monetize Your Audience

Finally, one area that many social media celebrities miss is monetization.

Now, I wouldn’t recommend focusing on becoming internet famous to simply to profit from your audience.

At the onset, your goal should be to inspire, educate, and deliver value to your audience.

But there’s nothing wrong with inviting people to get more value from you through a paid product or service.

If your audience appreciates the content that you’re sharing and offering, why shouldn’t there be a mechanism to compensate you for some of your work.
